Scan to record Warehouse transactions

Automates Warehousing Processes from Receiving to Shipping

Real-time Warehouse Control for your Plant

The SPEDE Material Control or Warehouse Control solutions enable manufacturers and warehousers respectively to label, track and trace inventory in real-time from Receiving through Shipping.

.You can use RFID and/or barcode scanning to capture and verifiy the following inventory transactions:

  • Raw Material Receipts
  • Putaways, Moves
  • Issuing / Picking, optional FIFO control
  • QC Holds or Quarantines
  • Cycle counts, Physical counts
  • Inquiries, Reports
  • Udates your host ERP or WMS system automatically

Get Real-time Control without a WMS

  • Real-time control, visibility and traceability without a costly Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Automates warehouse processes from Receiving through Shipping
  • Real-time location tracking at the serialized unit level
  • Uses RFID and/or barcode scanning to automate operations, reduce labor and eliminate errors
  • Maintains detailed Lot / Serial Traceability for 24/7 access
  • Optional FIFO control prevents obsolescence

Serial Number Control Ensures Inventory and Shipping Accuracy:

All inventory transactions are recorded by scanning or RFID-reading the serial number on the unit of inventory. The serial number is associated with all descriptive detail about that item (retained in the SPEDE Label Database), and with all events recorded for that item (retained in the SPEDE Event Database).

SPEDE uses serial numbers to validate the accuracy of transactions, e.g., the correct item is being picked. As a by-product of scanning the item's serial number, SPEDE automatically creates an electronic history of Lot / serial Traceability data.

Real-time Inventory Visibility

The SPEDE System provides real-time visibility of inventory units by serial number/ part number/ quantity/ and location.

By scanning the putaway location of an item, you can put items virtually anywhere and be able to locate them instantly. This means you can utilize your warehouse space more efficiently and flexibly, while eliminating the time and labor wasted in chasing parts.

SPEDE validates every inventory transaction real-time to ensure that inventory totals are correct. The data that your material handlers view onscreen will actually match the physical parts they will find there.

Real-time Picking/FIFO Control

Real-time Picking / Issuing Control

SPEDE receives picklist or shipper data from the host ERP or Release Accounting system, which directs the picking process. In addition, SPEDE can receive real-time changes to an order in process, and ensure the order is correctly picked.

When issuing raw material to production, SPEDE allocates the serial numbers of the raw material to the work order, creating lot/serial traceability back to the raw components - and forward through Work-in-Process.

When picking Finished Goods, SPEDE allocates the picked serial numbers to the customer order number to ensure that all picked units for the order are shipped – whether you are picking to stage or picking to ship.

Real-time visibility of picked and staged items lets you see the status of orders in process.
