Your raw material can arrive pre-labeled to your specifications, saving you the time and cost of re-labeling supplier shipments, and expediting the movement of material from the dock to where it is needed.

When pre-labeled material arrives, you can scan or RFID the shipment to automatically verify and record the receipt, update ERP, and route the material to the correct destination.

Easy, Inexpensive Solution

Your suppliers only need Internet access and a barcode or RFID printer to use the Supplier Labeling module, which resides on your SPEDE Server.

By accessing your Server to download label data for the order they are about to ship, your suppliers can print serialized barcode or RFID Master Labels containing your part information, and apply the labels to the order as it is ready to ship.

This will enable you to scan or RFID the order and receive it automatically. It enables you to keep the material moving upon its arrival, and eliminates the tying up of dock space while material is staged and re-labeled. It also eliminates your labor and material costs to do the labeling internally.

Creates a “Virtual ASN”

Your supplier's label-printing process automatically creates a “virtual ASN” on your SPEDE Server. This means you’ll know in advance the exact contents of supplier shipments before they arrive, down to the serialized container level, so you can better manage your resources. This virtual ASN is also the control mechanism by which SPEDE will verify the receipts when they are scanned-in at your dock. No EDI software is required.

SN Traceability Back to Suppliers

Because the inventory labels being printed by your suppliers are serialized, SPEDE enables you to trace back each unit of your incoming shipments to a particular supplier/PO number. This automatic traceability can be invaluable to your firm if quality issues arise down the road, and will simplify your compliance with federal and customer-mandated requirements for serialized traceability from raw material through finished part.
